Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our three growing companies. This position entails a variety of responsibilities, including handling purchases, recurring payment processing, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have proficiency in QuickBooks software. This role involves collaboration with our owner to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage various financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify accurate recording in daybooks, supplier ledgers, customer ledgers, and the general ledger.
- Bring financial records to the trial balance stage.
- Match expenses to customers, conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, and process check deposits.
- Work closely with client payments to ensure services are performed.
- Reconcile credit card statements and process payroll through ADP.
- Enter data, maintain records, and generate reports and financial statements.
