We also integrated a content management system that allowed content creators to compile images and videos in one place. The marketing director could easily access and review this content to decide what to feature on public-facing social media pages. This streamlined the content approval process, saving time and enhancing collaboration between team members.
The implementation of the AD-IOS system dramatically improved internal communication and operational efficiency at Chick-fil-A. Custom Employee Communication Platform
We developed a bespoke Employee Communication Network (ECN) tailored to Chick-fil-A's specific needs. This cloud-based SaaS solution serves as a centralized hub for all internal communications, eliminating the need for company-provided emails and saving franchise owners approximately $5 per user per month. Accessible via mobile devices as a home screen app, the ECN ensures that employees can stay connected anytime, anywhere.
Real-Time Communication and Notifications
Understanding the importance of timely and effective communication, we integrated real-time messaging and notification features into the ECN. Employees receive instant updates via SMS or their personal email accounts, overcoming the limitations of traditional email systems that are often overlooked. The platform supports multi-level group newsfeeds and individual communications, allowing for efficient information dissemination across different locations and departments.
Employee Engagement and Recognition
To foster a strong company culture and enhance employee retention, we incorporated features that promote engagement and recognition. The ECN includes a newsfeed community where employees can participate in groups and discussions, submit maintenance requests or tickets, and like, share, and comment on community boards. Managers can recognize and award employees directly through the platform, boosting morale and acknowledging hard work.
Comprehensive Resource Management
We built a robust content management system within the ECN to streamline access to essential resources. Employees can easily access and share documents, images, PDFs, training materials, and more. The platform allows for training requests from directors, time-off requests via a PTO portal with approval tracking, and a forms portal for HR-related documents. New hires can immediately access information like insurance details, benefits, and standard operating procedures, simplifying the onboarding process.
