As Sky Unlimited Inc™ expanded, managing the increasing volume of custom orders became a significant challenge. The company needed a centralized system to organize and track orders, line items, and production metrics in real-time. Existing manual processes were inefficient and prone to errors, affecting productivity and customer satisfaction. Integrating data from their Sky Launcher Desktop App into a cohesive backend system was essential to streamline operations. Additionally, they required robust user management and secure authentication to control access across different roles within the organization.

Our Solution

We developed Sky Scheduler, a comprehensive web application designed to centralize and streamline Sky Unlimited Inc™’s order management and production workflows. Built with the Laravel framework on the backend and Nuxt.js on the frontend, Sky Scheduler offers a responsive and intuitive interface for managing orders, tracking production metrics, and visualizing data through dynamic charts. By integrating data input from the Sky Launcher Desktop App, we created a seamless flow of information, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors. Features like advanced user management, secure authentication, and real-time updates empowered the company to scale their operations effectively.

Integrated Order Management System

We designed a robust order management system that organizes all orders and their line items in a centralized database. Users can sort and track orders by ID, date, status, and print type, simplifying the management of high volumes of orders and ensuring timely progression through production stages.

Real-Time Data Visualization and Dashboards

To provide actionable insights, we implemented dynamic dashboards featuring charts and graphs that display total impressions by date, week, and print type. This visualization helps the team monitor production metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.

Seamless Integration with Sky Launcher Desktop App

We ensured that Sky Scheduler seamlessly integrates with the existing Sky Launcher Desktop App. This integration automates the syncing of data related to print jobs, user inputs, and production statistics, creating a cohesive workflow from order intake to completion.

Advanced User Management and Security

Our team developed a comprehensive user management system with role-based access control. Administrators can assign roles such as artist, administrator, or order manager, controlling access to specific features and maintaining data security. Secure login and authentication protocols protect sensitive information and ensure only authorized personnel have access.

Responsive Frontend with Nuxt.js

Using Nuxt.js, we built a responsive and interactive frontend that enhances user experience. The single-page application (SPA) design allows for fast loading times and seamless navigation, improving efficiency for users managing orders and production data.
